Privacy Policy

• Inspection report file. The PDF or photo you upload. Used only to parse violations and generate your Pass Kit.
• Email address. Collected when you enter your email on the preview page or complete checkout. Used to deliver your kit, send daily task reminders, and honor our pass-or-refund guarantee.
• Payment information. Processed by Stripe. We receive only a payment confirmation token and last-four card digits (never your full card number).
• Report metadata. Inspection score, violation codes, re-inspection date, and state/county. Stored to power the dashboard and countdown emails.
• Usage data. Page views and events (e.g., "checkout started") via PostHog, used for product improvement. No personal information is attached to these events beyond a random session ID.

• To read your inspection report and extract violations using an AI model (Anthropic Claude).
• To generate your Pass Kit documents (Corrective Action Plan, Fix Instructions, etc.).
• To send your kit delivery email and daily countdown reminders before your re-inspection.
• To process your payment and, if applicable, issue a refund.
• To improve the accuracy of our parsing and document generation.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing.

We use the following sub-processors:

• Supabase: database and file storage (U.S. region).
• Stripe: payment processing. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Resend: transactional email delivery.
• Anthropic: AI processing of your inspection report text. Data is not used to train Anthropic models under our API agreement.
• PostHog: anonymous product analytics.

Inspection report files and extracted violation data are retained for 90 days from the date of your re-inspection (or 90 days from purchase if no re-inspection date is set), then deleted. Order records (email, payment confirmation) are retained for 7 years for accounting purposes. You may request earlier deletion by emailing support@inspectrescue.com.

We use one session cookie to maintain your report session across page loads. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. PostHog may set a cookie for anonymous session continuity; you can block it with any standard browser privacy extension.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@inspectrescue.com. We will respond within 30 days.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Report files are stored in private, access-controlled storage. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never touches our servers in raw form.

This service is intended for food-service business operators aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted to this page. If changes are material, we will note the updated date at the top of the page.
